Beat-the-HELL-outta-SFA! (11/20 - 21/09)

 

1.  Saturday's Schedule is posted below along with a brief synopsis of the remainder of the semester.  Please look at the schedules below to be sure you know what is happening!

2.  This Saturday we will be performing a concert on the Riverfront instead of our usual rehearsal.  We will meet at 10am and play from 11 - 11:30.  Stay tuned tomorrow morning for last-minute weather contingency plans regarding this performance.

3.   The following people need to see KR ASAP (HINT: this is important!)

Molly Boatman, James Carpenter, Gabby Gutierrez, David Holcombe, Kyle LaCore,  Kishe Nelson, Jonathon Nichols, Erin Smith, Ashley Tullos

4.  Results for Symphonic & Concert Band auditions are posted on the CAPA Office window.  Please enroll in the correct section:

Symphonic Band (T/TH): MUS 1310 - 03N

Concert Band (M/W): MUS 1310 - 04N

5.  There is no Beat-the-HELL-outta-SFA number five -- but there SHOULD be!

6.  Fire up for some terrific run-throughs today!  Last rehearsal of game-day stuff for '09!

GAME DAY!  NSU vs. SFA!

10:00am -- Meet at the Riverfront Stage in full uniform (with gloves, but NO hats)

You will have to park at the Events Center or on 2nd Street.

11:00am -- Concert

11:30am -- Lunch provided in Band Hall

1:00pm -- Line Up/March Down (WITH hats!)

1:40pm Pre-Game

2:00pm Beat the hell-outta SFA!!!

 

Remainder of the Semester!

11/20 (F): Normal rehearsal

11/21 (S):  Concert & SFA Game

11/30 (M): Recording Session at the Practice Field

12/2 (W): Parade Practice

12/4 (F): Picture Day in the Stadium!

12/5 (S): Christmas Parade.  Meet at Noon.

12/7 (M):  Wind Symphony & Wind Ensemble Reading Session (3 - 4:50pm)

12/9 (W):  Rain-out day for pictures.
